In June 2020, Olga Bielkova joined the management team of LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine and is responsible for promoting and protecting the interests of GTSOU in the international arena and among key regulatory bodies.

 

Olga Bielkova has more than 20 years of experience in the successful implementation of large-scale reform projects with the involvement of international partners – both in managerial positions in public and commercial organizations, and as a national-level politician in the status of a People’s Deputy of Ukraine in the last three convocations of the Verkhovna Rada (2012-2020).

She received higher economic education at the Cherkasy State Technical University (1997), higher legal education at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2001), graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2011) with a master’s degree in public administration.

In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2012-2020) she actively worked in the committees: on finance and banking (VII convocation), on issues of the fuel and energy complex, nuclear policy and nuclear safety (VIII convocation), on finance, tax and customs politics (IX convocation).

Olga Bielkova was the driver of many reforms in the energy sector of Ukraine, in particular, for her authorship were adopted the key laws for the industry – on the natural gas market and on NEURC. In the international arena, she took an active part in opposing the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project and defending Ukraine’s position as a transit country.

On June 18, 2020, on her own initiative, she resigned from the mandate of a People’s Deputy and completed her work in the Ukrainian Parliament of the IX convocation ahead of schedule.
