On March 10, due to hostilities, the high-pressure gas pipeline to the Vuhlehirska TPP gas distribution station was damaged. At 5:50 a.m., the company’s dispatchers recorded a significant decrease in the systems’ inlet pressure.

This gas pipeline transports gas to the Vuhlehirska TPP (currently does not use gas to generate electricity) and Svitlodarsk with more than 12,000 inhabitants.

Specialists of GTSOU have already started localization of the accident, the preliminary assessment – the town of Svitlodarsk will remain with gas. The scope of repair work is currently being clarified.
