Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) resumed gas supply to more than 3,000 households

GTSOU resumed the operation of two gas distribution stations in the Kharkiv region and provided gas supply to more than 3,000 consumers.

Both stations were shut down due to damage to the main gas pipeline in the Kharkiv region as a result of hostilities. To resume gas transportation company’s repair crews needed support from the Kharkiv RMA and the military. With the help of military sappers, GTSOU workers managed to get to the affected area and locate the damage. The next day they spent filling the gas pipeline with gas and checking for possible leaks.

After inspections of the equipment, the gas distribution stations were put into operation, and the gas entered the distribution networks of Kharkivgaz.

As of May 14, 2022, 54 gas distribution stations in seven regions of Ukraine remain shut down due to hostilities.
