We thank colleagues from Ukrtransgaz – Storage System Operator of Ukraine, Zorya Mashproekt, JSC “Sumy Machine-Building Science-and-Production Association – Engineering” for effective work on preparing the construction facility for commissioning at a high professional level.

GTSOU actively involves domestic companies in cooperation and uses only the best equipment. For example, highly efficient gas pumping units with an efficiency of not lower than 35%, gas turbine engines manufactured by Zorya-Mashproekt and a compressor manufactured by JSC Sumy SPA Engineering.

Recall that the Yagotyn compressor station is a key station for the safe transportation of Ukrainian-produced gas to domestic consumers. It is this station that provides gas to multimillioned Kiev – industrial facilities and residents. This strategic facility will work in any transit scenario.

For the safety and improvement of the economic performance of gas transportation, we have begun the process of updating and installing the main equipment. The construction work continues at the Yagotyn CS, a new, modern workshop is being built here, while the operation of the station does not stop.

Thanks to the reconstruction, we expect a reduction in fuel gas consumption, reduction in the cost of repairs and reduction in operational needs for the operation and maintenance of gas compressor units (GCUs). This will ensure reliable operation of the GPU, the compressor station itself and the gas transmission system as a whole.
