November 4th, 2020, Kyiv – Gas TSO of Ukraine conducted on Prozorro platform procurement of 105 modern ball valves, used to localize gas pipeline sections in case of necessity to rearrange gas transportation routes, repair works, failures or emergency situations. The price reduction as a consequence of biddings amounted to 43% (UAH -150 million) of the starting price.
The estimated fair value of the tender, formed on the basis of marketing analysis, was UAH 350 million. In the course of competitive bidding, it was significantly reduced: at the first stage of the auction by 26%, and at the second – by 43%. Some 10 suppliers from Ukraine, Italy, China, Germany, USA and Czech Republic were competing in the tender. Because of transparent centralized procurement, the company was able to save COSTS while maintaining the quality of goods. Indeed, the suppliers are interested in large volumes of sales and stand ready to compete to win.
Vorex LLC, the official dealer of one of the leading manufacturers of Italy, PERAR S.P.A., became the successful bidder, having submitted the lowest price offer of UAH 200 million. GTSOU signed a corresponding agreement with this contractor on November 10, 2020.
