A mobile application, funded by USAID through the Energy Security Project (ESP), will become an essential component for the effective work of MRO teams (advanced maintenance, repair and operation).
This application is designed to automate the processes of receiving scheduled tasks and registering data regarding their execution, while simultaneously ensuring control over the presence of the work performers at their facilities. The “Pilot” MRO teams have successfully integrated this application into their daily operations. Updates will be made to enhance workflows through the addition of new features.
“Assets management system (AMS) upgrade is a strategic direction that the company is implementing with assistance from USAID through the Energy Security Project. The GTSOU team is constantly working to improve operational efficiency, and we are grateful to our partner for their comprehensive support of strategic initiatives purposed at strengthening the safety of gas supply,” said Dmytro Lyppa, General Director of the Gas TSO of Ukraine.
It is expected that MRO maintenance teams operation using this mobile app will not only result in savings in operating costs for the GTSOU, but also optimize the processes of accounting for time and material assets spent. Additionally it can enhance maintenance quality and potentially reduce the number of costly repairs.
