Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine became one of a few leading European gas transportation companies, which have implemented four management systems in accordance with ISO standards. The certification does not only increase the efficiency of the processes in the company, but also gives the customers of transportation services and partners confidence that GTSOU is a reliable partner, which ensures high-quality, safe and energy-efficient operation of the GTS of Ukraine.

The management system of the Gas TSO of Ukraine has been certified and complies with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018 and ISO 50001: 2018. This is the basis of the company’s integrated management system, which is designed to reduce duplication of functions, reduce bureaucracy and allow GTSOU to fully comply with the market and legal requirements.

In Gas TSO of Ukraine, the management system includes:

• Quality management system;
• Environmental management system;
• Occupational health and safety management system;
• Energy management system.

Such system operates as a single mechanism and aims to meet the requirements of all stakeholders: customers, consumers, employees, suppliers, the state, society as a whole.

We had been pursuing this goal for over a year – since the very beginning of the establishment of the independent operator of the GTS. We implement up-to-date principles and methods of operations management, so that Gas TSO serves as a benchmark for safe and energy-efficient operations, quality services and sustainable development standards,” said Sergiy Makogon, General Director of Gas TSO.

The certification audit was conducted by TÜV SÜD Management Service, accredited by DAkkS, and recognized in more than 80 countries worldwide. Experts performed a thorough audit of all management and production processes for compliance with international ISO standards. Based on its results it was decided that the company fully complies with the required standards.
