Kyiv, June 10 – On the Ukrainian-Italian business-forum Gas TSO of Ukraine (GTSOU) has entered into an agreement with Italian company RMT Valvomeccanica S.r.l. – the world leading manufacturer of shut-off valves – on manufacturing of ball and control valves for the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
According to the contract, RMT Valvomeccanica S.r.l. is to manufacture and supply to GTSOU ball valves of API standard (American Petroleum Institute) Spec 6D with triple seal shut-off ball for pipelines with diameter of 300, 400, 500, 700, 1000, 1200 and 1400 mm, which requires high-level manufacturing technologies.
Note that RMT Valvomeccanica S.r.l. is part of the GIVA Group, one of the leading international manufacturers of valves and actuators with a full production cycle, including metallurgy and manufacturing of valve body blanks, balls and other valve parts. But most importantly, it will enhance the reliability of GTS operation, which will contribute to strengthening the position of Gas TSO of Ukraine as a reliable gas transiter to Europe.»
