State of operation of the Ukrainian GTS as of March 16, 2022, 12 a.m.

On March 15-16, Lysychansk town lost its gas supply because of night shelling, which damaged gas distribution networks in front of the main gas distribution point. Lysychanskgaz (a division of Luhanskgaz) decided to shut down the town’s gas networks.

Also, due to enemy shelling in the Kyiv region, the gas pipeline to the Zalissia GDS was damaged. To conduct repair works on the gas pipeline, GTSOU temporarily shut down GDS “Zalissya”, “Semypolky”, “Kalyta”, and “Velyka Dymerka”, through which gas entered the settlements in Brovary district. Gas transportation to Brovary town through Brovary GDS continues as usual.

Due to active hostilities, the number of shut down gas distribution stations has increased from 37 to 38 over the past 24 hours. The company does everything possible to restore the facilities in all regions as soon as possible.

Despite working in emergency conditions, the GTSOU continues to provide gas transportation to Ukrainian consumers and companies: on March 15, 101.6 million cubic meters of gas were transported by main gas pipelines for the needs of Ukraine.
