20220927 Donors Day (site)
Employees of GTSOU employees donated 17 liters of blood to the capital’s blood bank

GTSOU continues to support the tradition of blood donation – today it can save the lives of our defenders and speed up their recovery. On September 27, a team from Kyiv Oblast Clinical Hospital visited the head office of GTSOU to take blood from 37 volunteers. Our colleagues contributed 17 liters to the Kyiv Blood Bank.

Liudmyla Hudyma, the leading engineer at Information Technology Division, joined the campaign for the second time: “I donate blood because it is a real opportunity to help, to share a part of myself to save someone’s life. This is very inspiring. The procedure itself is not scary at all, so if you still haven’t made up your mind, join in!” – urges the woman.

Blood donation is a noble and useful act, always carried out under the supervision of doctors, and is completely safe for health. Moreover, donating blood makes the donor healthier! It has been proven to normalize blood circulation and improve the immune system, etc.

To date, health care institutions have necessary stock levels of donor blood and its components, however, due to the difficult situation at the front, it is important to replenish them.

GTSOU employees are people who care, so there has always been a strong tradition of donating blood and volunteering. The Company’s employees in all regions regularly donate blood for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and seriously ill people who need it.

Recall that donating blood is a voluntary decision of every healthy person between the ages of 18 and 70 to give 450 ml of his or her blood. Blood and its components are used for transfusion to recipients – those who need it because of an injury in war, illness, or surgery.
