LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine informs Network Users about changes in the plan of repair works. These changes apply to the new repair works at IP Budince that will lead to the complete stop of physical transportation through the IP Budince from August 11, 2020. The estimated maximum duration of repair works is until October 1, 2020. The above-mentioned repair works are necessary for the safe operation of infrastructure and preparation for the next winter season. In order to reduce the period of interruption, the above-mentioned repair works will be combined with the repair works planned beforehand for September 2-6, 2020 (fireworks of connection of straightened section of the junction valve to main pipeline DUD-II). LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine will make all efforts to carry out the repair works as quickly and efficiently as possible, and to minimize the time of interruption.

At the same time, aiming to provide Network Users with the access to services during the active injection into Underground Storage facilities of Ukraine, LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine informs about the fact that we offered several times to the Gas TSO of Slovakia (Eustream) to resolve the problem of interruption of services by means of:

• unification of two physical interconnection points Budince and Uzhgorod/Velke Kapusany in one virtual interconnection point or
• provision of access to the entry point at IP Velke Kapusany, on the same terms without additional payment, to the allocated capacity at the entry point at IP Budince only during the period of repair works and within the limits of the allocated capacity at the entry point at IP Budince.

LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine requested clarification from the national regulatory authority on possibility of above measures and is expecting positive feedback soon.

We remind that starting from May 1, 2020, LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine and the Gas TSO of Hungary joined interconnection points Beregovo and Beregdaroc into a single virtual interconnection point “Bereg”. Also, starting from July 1, 2020, LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine and the Gas TSO of Poland will join interconnection points Drozdovichi and Hermanowice into a single virtual interconnection point GCP “GAZ-SYSTEM/UATSO”.
