State of the Ukrainian GTS operation as of March 29, 2022, 14:00

On the previous day, March 28, Gas TSO of Ukraine transported 81.1 million cubic meters of natural gas for the needs of Ukrainian consumers. Gas production in Ukraine amounted to 50.1 mcm while import was equal to 9.4 mcm. The company continues transporting gas for the needs of Ukraine and Europe despite the hostilities.

Kharkiv LPU, together with Kharkivgaz and Kharkivmiskgaz, has developed a temporary gas supply scheme for consumers through GDS-3 in Kharkiv. We are reminding, yesterday, on March 28, as a result of a direct hit of the enemy shell, the critical infrastructure of this GDS was destroyed; due to this, 4.5 thousand consumers remained without gas supply. While Kharkivgaz specialists are planning work on their networks, Kharkiv LPU employees are executing the necessary preparatory works.

Due to hostilities, 44 GDSs out of 1395 in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Kyiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions of Ukraine remain temporarily disconnected.

On GTSO objects in the areas with no active hostilities, the preparation for the new heating season is being actively held – maintenance and planned repair works. GTSOU crews also execute repairs on the main gas pipelines based on the results of in-pipe diagnostics carried out by ROSEN Europe B.V. The company actively cooperates with contractors and suppliers to restore all work processes as soon as possible to guarantee uninterrupted gas transportation.
