Gas TSO of Ukraine has completed the implementation of the SAP S/4 HANA enterprise resource planning system. This modern system will significantly improve the quality of planning and accounting processes and increase the efficiency of GTS M&R management.

SAP S/4 HANA is an efficient new generation ERP system for enterprise resource management based on the advanced in-memory platform SAP HANA. The system allows GTSOU to automate the work of some different services and functions by making use of the following modules:

• FI “Accounting, tax accounting, and reporting”;
• CO “Controlling”;
• FM “Funds Management (Budgeting)”;
• MM “Inventory Management / Procurement”;
• SD “Sales Management”;
• PM “Plant Maintenance (M&R management)”;
• PS “Project Management (Capital investment projects management).”

As a result, the company gets many opportunities to increase the processing speed of the corporate information system; automate the processes of resource planning and controls within the processes of budgeting, procurement, and M&R; improve the capabilities of managing capital investment projects, get extensive analytics for different processes, and organizational functions.

The implementation of the multifunctional platform SAP S/4 HANA was carried out by a team of GTSOU specialists, which worked out and determined the target operating model for 184 business and production processes of the company. The system is deployed under optimized architecture, while maximum alignment with SAP standards simplifies its further upgrade and maintenance. Currently, GTSOU specialists continue developing the digitalization of the company’s processes using the capabilities of the SAP S/4 HANA system, for example, implementing mobile M&R management as well as expanding integration with the electronic document interchange system.
