Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian war against Ukraine, Odesa law enforcement officers have been on high alert – patrolling the streets, countering sabotage and reconnaissance groups, guarding critical infrastructure, and on duty at checkpoints.
As Russian aggression in the region intensifies, their work is becoming increasingly important and risky. Therefore, The Main National Police Department (MNPD) employees in Odesa region asked for help with the necessary equipment. Gas TSO of Ukraine in partnership with the Charitable Foundation “DobryBrat”, which helped in organizing the purchase, handed over to police the bulletproof vests of the fourth class of protection. Funds for the equipment were raised by the company’s trade union through voluntary contributions from GTSOU employees.
Since the beginning of the war, the company and its employees have organized fundraising for the defense of Ukraine. In addition to assisting MNPD staff in Odesa region, GTSOU in partnership with Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), has already provided combat equipment kits (bulletproof vests and helmets) to protect the military guard in Kharkiv region. The company will continue working to strengthen country’s defense and security sector.
