State of operation of the UA GTS, March 8, 2022, 12 a.m.

GTSOU transported 99.5 mcm of gas for the needs of Ukrainian consumers (operational information for March 7). The company controls the management of the gas transmission system and works to restore the damaged or stopped pipeline units due to hostilities.

In particular, specialists of GTSOU, with the support of the Ukrainian military forces and the Kyiv National Police sustained the Chaika gas distribution station (GDS), which provides gas to 30,000 consumers in the Kyiv region. During the day, on March 7, we managed to resume the work of two GDS in the Kyiv and Mykolaiv regions.

Another 32 GDS in Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions remain out of operation due to military aggression by Russian invaders and active hostilities. Due to the damage to the Kramatorsk-Donetsk-Mariupol main gas pipeline, about a million residents of Donetsk and Zaporizhia oblasts are left without gas. Technical specialists of GTSOU are looking for an opportunity for the fastest repair of the gas pipeline.

The company continues to support Ukraine’s security and defense sector and has donated 100 units of equipment to defend the country.
